Police registers case against Kashmir Minister

Police in Indian administered Kashmir on Tuesday registered a case against Junior Minister for Rural Development, Javaid Mustafa Mir, for endangering life and personal safety of people.

Mir's personnel weapon went off "accidentally" on Monday at the Jammu airport. Three people present near the security check point on airport sustained injuries in the incident.

The weapon was found in luggage of minister.

As per reports the police registered case against Mir under section 336 and 337 of Ranbir Penal Code (RPC) for endangering life and causing injuries to others after it received a complaint from one of the injured persons.

The gun shots created panic among the passengers present on the airport at that time.
