Apr 02, 2007: Students from a local government school stand beside a police van set ablaze in an altercation between police and students near Mujgund, Sumbal on the outskirts of Srinagar, summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir Monday. A group of students protesting lack of amenities in their school blocked a main road and resorted to violence after the guard of a local legislator had an altercation with students and fired in air to clear way for the legislator's vehicle. Two vehilces were set on fire by the agitated students, and two students were injured in police action. / Altaf Zargar
