June 25, 2007: A policeman corners a lone doctor during the protest demonstration of medicos in Srinagar, summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir Monday. Thirty doctors were injured, two of them critically, when police opened canecharge on the protesting unemployed doctors belonging to alternate medicine. Numbering about 1100, these doctors were demanding jobs and accused government of backtracking on its promise to absorb them in government sector. / Javid Dar
